COVID-19 Update

Progressive Resumption of Church Services

Following the initial cessation of church services at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Parish commenced a partial return to church services on Sunday 5 July. Under the arrangement, services are held on a rotational basis across three churches: St Clements Merimbula; St Johns Eden; and Christ Church Pambula.

Click on the button below to see the list of church services for the next fortnight.

On 23 August 2020 restrictions on numbers for places of worship in NSW were eased. The 4 square metres per person social distancing rule however remains unchanged. As a consequence, the maximum capacity in each of the above churches remains unchanged.

If you would like to attend a service(s) please let Jenny (the Parish Office Manager) know
by no later than 4pm on the day before the service.

Jenny can be contacted in the following ways:

  • Via the Contact Us page at the top right hand tab above.
  • Email –
  • Phone – 02 6495 4353
  • Mobile – 0459 108 075

NSW Government guidelines are being carefully followed.

Social distancing will be maintained & the maximum number of worshippers will be contained within the 4 square metre rule.

We will also be keeping an attendance record, so please arrive 5-10 minutes early and bring your own pen.

While there is no mandatory requirement to wear facemasks, ‘… the NSW Government strongly recommends you take extra precautions to protect others … (including that you) carry a clean face mask with you at all times and wear it … when in high-risk indoor areas such as … places of worship …’

We ask you not to attend a service if you:

  • have any symptoms and are seeking medical care;
  • are going to get tested; or
  • have been asked to self-isolate.

For more information, please click here to see the NSW Government policy page on Physical Distancing and here to see its policy on Face masks (including a section on who should not wear a facemask).

For those who are not attending a service, there are recorded services which can be watched at any time online, either via the YouTube Services link on the Home page or by clicking here.

And please remember:
